In the plaza leading towards Dorsey Manor in Deathloop, there are large caves that Colt can enter on either side and find a safe with three locks. Next, trot down the lower main street until passing The Treasure of the Ice, and Anatoly's blue house will be the last on the left. Proceed up the street through the Gardens of Perception to find Vanya's blue house on the right. When an Eternalist is spared, their home in Karl's Bay becomes available to grab each of their codes. Tap once to save Vanya and twice to save Anatoly, but each event requires spending a day on each scenario. To acquire the codes, be sure to save one of the two Eternalists when pressing the smoke dispenser button. Inside the room, there will be a note that contains Cassandra's code and another that details the plot to kill the Eternalists with the other two codes. Read the note on the gate and climb up to the balcony to hack the telephone booth nearest the gate to open it, creating a shortcut between the tunnels of Blackreef.Ī short stairway can be found opposite Colt's apartment window entrance which leads to a room with a hookah-like device and a door with three codes, and unlocking this door at least two loops.
In Deathloop's Updaam, there is an alley leading down to a stairway where a large gate can be found under an archway towards The Moxie. Locate the empty hole where the safe used to be to find a note with the code to Colt's safe. Head to the AEON security office in the morning and hack the door through the adjacent window. It is impressive how much work the developers put into crafting the world, even if a large majority of players might never see these secret locations.The next closest lock is Colt's safe, which is discovered during the tutorial, but the location of the code is actually in Fristad Rock. While the main game has a set path and guides you through the story in a clear manner, many of these areas worth visiting would be missed completely. It even made it necessary to come back to this list and add new secret areas.

Even if they do not earn you extra gear, they go to show the intense attention to detail Arkane Studios put into their most recent release. The areas detailed below are all worth finding and exploring.
The island of Blackreef is filled with hidden areas that lead to side quests, or simply expand upon the game's lore. However, you'd be missing a lot of what Deathloop has to offer if you mainlined through the story and avoided any extra content. Your main goal is to kill several people within one in-game day - among other mind bending things. Deathloop came out on September 14, 2021.
